FM 355-2 C: 4 analog outputs for analog final control elements;
FM 355-2 S: 8 digital outputs for motorized actuators or binary controlled actuators. The 24 V DC supply for the actuators is applied externally.
Resolution and accuracy: The A-to-D conversion has 14-bit resolution and greater accuracy than in the case of FM 355. This is an advantage especially when using thermocouples.
