Evaluation of OEE indicators

Indicators are determined using the high-quality machine data as a basis, and displayed – ranging from the single machine, through machine groups, up to complete production areas.

The following indicators are calculated as standard (depending on the acquired data):

• Utilization, availability, quality, OEE, MTTR and MTBF
• Further indicators can be calculated for specific projects

Statistical comparisons

The SINUMERIK Integrate for production Analyze MyPerformance evaluations support statistical comparisons over time as well as across machine groups. In this way, a gradual deterioration of machine performance can be detected as easily as an improvement in the availability of a machine in a group of identical machines.

Causal analysis including alarms and messages

If potential for improvement is detected, the causes can be investigated directly within the system (e.g. quality problems, clock cycle problems, machine faults) which can form the basis for rectification measures.

In the case of machine faults, evaluation of the alarms and messages provides more important information for rectifying the fault and minimizing standstill times.
