Optical transmission media

Glass fiber-optic cables are preferably used as the optical transmission medium. The two types of cable offered are suitable for above-ground routing indoors or outdoors. They are available in fixed lengths, preassembled with 2x2 BFOC connectors, 2x2 SC connectors or 2Г—2 LC connectors

The FO standard cable with 2 x 2 SC connectors is required for optical networking in the Gigabit range.
