PRODAVE is a toolbox for exchange of process data between SIMATIC S7, SIMATIC M7, SIMATIC C7 and PG/PC. It handles the data traffic autonomously over the MPI interface (PPI with S7-200). In version 6.0 or higher, communication with a PLC is also possible over Ethernet. Additional detailed information on protocol handling is not required.

The toolbox PRODAVE contains a collection of calls for data exchange with a PLC. These are integrated in applications written by users in C or Visual Basic.

PRODAVE MPI version 6.0 additionally allows a remote link over a fixed network in conjunction with Teleservice V5.0 and later (not for S7-200). SIMATIC Teleservice must be ordered separately.

PRODAVE MPI Mini does not support Teleservice functions or data exchange over Industrial Ethernet.
