The ET 200pro CPU 1516pro-2 PN consists of two parts:
CPU 1516pro-2 PN (6ES7516-2PNxx-0AB0) and
CM CPU 2PN M12 / 7/8" connection module (6ES7194-4AP00-0AA0)
Both parts must be ordered separately.
The CPU 1516pro-2 PN features:
A powerful processor: The CPU achieves command execution times as low as 10 ns per binary instruction
A large work memory: 1 MB for program, 5 MB for data
SIMATIC Memory Cards as load memory; permitting additional functions such as firmware update, datalog and archives
Flexible expansion capability: single-tier configuration with max. 16 modules (I/O, motor starter, frequency converter). Station width up to 1 m
IO controller functionality for connecting distributed I/O and I-Device functionality for connecting the CPU to higher-level IO controllers via PROFINET interfaces:
PROFINET IO RT/IRT interface with 3 ports (2 x M12, 1 x RJ45)
Integrated PROFINET IO RT interface with 1 port M12
