Extractive procedures for process gas analysis

With extractive measuring procedures, the sample to be analyzed is extracted from the process line and applied preconditioned to the analyzer via a sample line and a sample preparation system.

The Series 6 range from Siemens includes a number of extractive measuring procedures with uniform housing and operating concepts. Each instrument provides peak analytical performances for its class:

IR-sensitive components: ULTRAMAT 6 and ULTRAMAT 23

For high-selectivity measurement of IR-sensitive components and for standard applications

IR-sensitive components and oxygen

As a combination of the high-end devices ULTRAMAT 6 and OXYMAT 6 or for standard applications with ULTRAMAT 23

Oxygen: OXYMAT 6, OXYMAT 61 and OXYMAT 64

For measuring the oxygen concentration according to the paramagnetic principle and for measuring oxygen concentrations in the trace range using ZrO2 sensors

Hydrocarbons (total measurement): FIDAMAT 6

For measurement of total hydrocarbons according to the flame ionization principle

Hydrogen and inert gases: CALOMAT 6 and CALOMAT 62

For quickly determining the concentration of hydrogen and other components in binary, even corrosive, mixes by measuring the thermal conductivity
