Guide elements consist of two ball joint heads which are linked via a connecting piece, and provide a very economical solution in comparison to round-head bolt guides.

Guide elements can be mounted as standard mounting components directly on the combination mounting units of load cells of the RN and SB series to divert horizontal forces up to 1.7 kN into the foundation.

Alternatively, guide elements can be mounted between the load bearing implement and the foundation with the mounting bracket.

Separate mounting of the guide element permits the layout to be individually adapted to on-site conditions.

It is important to note the following on installation:

The flexible head must be mounted before the scales are adjusted and a check run to ensure that it is fully flexible.

The ball joint head must be easy to move at every fill level of the scales.
