Client/server architecture

Up to 16 clients can be connected to an X-Tools server. If required, the server can also be operated without a client, e.g. for data recording. The creation of a single-user system as a combined client/server application does not require time-consuming installation. User-specific access to data can be controlled by access privileges and configured on a customized basis.

Interfaces

SIPLUS CMS400 X-Tools records data on SIMATIC S7, SIMATIC TDC and SIMOTION via software input nodes and hardware input nodes for analog and binary signals.

Integration is easy into a maintenance infrastructure with SIMATIC Maintenance Station, into networks, as well as into SCADA applications.
