The blocks available for various types of device are preparameterized for a standard scope of tags, but can also be reparameterized without problem for special project requirements.

The station gateway communicates with the SIMATIC PCS 7 automation system via its CP 443?1 communication module, and uses the standard communication mechanisms of SIMATIC PCS 7 (BSEND/BRECV).

The communication blocks with integrated connection diagnostics can be positioned in the CFC Editor on a CFC chart. A changed connection status, e.g. failure or re-establishment, is signaled in the SIMATIC PCS 7 Operator System by means of an alarm.
