LOHER Motors in Ex d(e)

Especially when it involves flameproof motors, Loher has a portfolio that is second to none when it comes to scope and the capability to address a global market. The motor enclosure has been designed so that an explosion inside the motor cannot propagate to the explosive environment around the motor. The motors are suitable for installation in Zone 1.
In the standard version, the motor has type of protection "d" and the terminal box has type of protection "e".
All of the flameproof explosion-protected motors are individually tested in the plant to ensure that they are pressure tight.
