Communications processor for connecting a SIMATICВ S7-400 to Industrial Ethernet networks via OPCВ UAВ mechanisms.

The CPВ 443-1В OPCВ UA supports:

• PG/OP communication
• Communication via OPCВ UA as OPCВ UAВ server and/or OPCВ UAВ client for exchanging process data (dataВ access)

The CP makes it possible to provide data for, or receive data from, other stations via a standardized OPCВ UA interface direct from the SIMATICВ S7-400 controller. The CP can be used here as an OPCВ UA server and/or an OPCВ UAВ client. Communication as an OPCВ UAВ client takes place via user blocks standardized by the PLCopen organization.
