SIMOCRANEВ CMS and RCMS upgradeВ packages

Upgrade packages are offered with separate article numbers in order to make upgrades from previous versions to the latest version of SIMOCRANEВ CMS V4.3. If there are already cranes equipped with versions CMSВ V4.2 (or CMSВ V4.1) in the terminal, different versions may be used, but limitations due to the different versions must be taken into account (please refer to the customer support web page for more information). When new cranes are added to the existing ones in the terminal which use CMSВ upgradeВ packages, the already installed CMSВ packages can be upgraded to the latest version available, to version V4.3. In order to upgrade CMSВ Lean to CMSВ Basic, upgrade packages are also available.

The following upgrade packages can be ordered:

• Upgrade license from SIMOCRANE CMSВ Lean to CMS BasicВ package
• Upgrade license from SIMOCRANEВ CMS V 4.1, V4.1 SP1 and V4.2 to CMSВ V4.3
• Upgrade license from SIMOCRANEВ RCMS V 4.1, V4.1 SP1 and V4.2 to RCMSВ V4.3

The upgrade licenses for CMSВ Lean to CMSВ Basic includes the extra licenses for WinCC PowerTags and ArchiveВ Tags. The other options contained in CMSВ Lean will be as well valid for CMSВ Basic. For the upgrades of CMSВ & RCMS older versions to V4.3, upgrades for WinCCВ tags and options are delivered with the upgrade licenses. Please refer to the section CMSВ & RCMS ordering data specifications and upgradeВ packages.

When using SIMOCRANE upgradeВ licenses, please check CMSВ application project. For migration of older versions, migration of projects for CMSВ configuration and CMSВ application should be considered.
